JM briyani House was founded late Mustapha and his wife, Jamilah Abu Bakar since 1983 is among the network's famous briyani rice restaurants in the country. JM bearing the name of my late wife, Jamilah, while M is bringing the base name of the deceased who is deemed a very hard working and friendly.


                              


Capitalizing on the recipe, JM Bariani House opened its first branch in SS 18, Subang Jaya, has received overwhelming response from customers consisting of relatives, friends and the local community.


Following the overwhelming response, JM briyani House so far has succeeded in opening of 20 branches, which is partly owned by itself and francaisee in the Klang Valley and Selangor.


Late Mustapha business is continued by his three children, including Zulkarnain.




Bariani is a modified recipe from the Middle East and was introduced by Middle Eastern traders trade at the port of Singapore. Local people adapt bariani using spices and herbs. Bariani Gam for original recipes where the meat is cooked in a pot with rice. Bariani that originated in Persia, called 'Baria', meaning to cook rice and meat together in the same pot.
